Refund Policy

1. Introduction

At Balance Zone, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our styling services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds and cancellations for all services provided by Balance Zone.

By booking our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Refund Policy.

2. Service Deposits

For most of our styling services, we require a non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your appointment. The deposit amount varies depending on the service booked and will be clearly communicated during the booking process.

The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your service. The remaining balance is due before or at the time of service delivery, as specified in your booking confirmation.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1 Client Cancellations

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 7 days before appointment: Full refund of any payments made (excluding non-refundable deposits)
  • 3-7 days before appointment: 50% refund of any payments made (excluding non-refundable deposits)
  • Less than 48 hours before appointment: No refund provided

Cancellations must be made in writing via email to [email protected] or through your client portal.

3.2 Rescheduling

If you need to reschedule your appointment, please contact us as soon as possible:

  • More than 48 hours' notice: No rescheduling fee will be charged
  • Less than 48 hours' notice: A rescheduling fee of £50 will apply

We will make every effort to accommodate your new preferred date and time, subject to availability.

3.3 No-Shows

If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without prior notice, it will be considered a "no-show." No-shows will result in forfeiture of any payments made, and you may be required to make a new payment to book another appointment.

4. Balance Zone Cancellations

In the rare event that Balance Zone needs to cancel or reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances (such as stylist illness, emergency, etc.), we will:

  • Contact you as soon as possible to notify you of the cancellation
  • Offer to reschedule your appointment at a time convenient for you
  • Provide a full refund of all payments made, including deposits, if rescheduling is not possible or desired

5. Service Refunds

5.1 Satisfaction Guarantee

We strive to provide exceptional styling services to all our clients. If you are not completely satisfied with the service provided, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment. We will work with you to address your concerns by:

  • Providing additional guidance or clarification on recommendations
  • Scheduling a follow-up session to address specific concerns
  • Offering partial refunds in certain circumstances at our discretion

5.2 Eligibility for Refunds

Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

  • The service delivered significantly differed from what was described or advertised
  • Technical issues prevented the delivery of virtual styling services
  • The stylist was unable to complete the scheduled service within the allocated time due to factors within our control

Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

5.3 Non-Refundable Services

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Services that have been fully delivered according to the service description
  • Consultations where styling advice has been provided
  • Differences in personal style preferences or subjective opinions about recommendations
  • Services where the client did not provide necessary information requested by the stylist

6. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates for our styling services are subject to the following terms:

  • Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Non-refundable once purchased
  • May be transferred to another person with prior written notice to Balance Zone
  • Cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Lost or stolen gift certificates can be replaced with proof of purchase

7. Refund Process

If a refund is approved, the following process applies:

  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase
  • Processing time for refunds is typically 5-10 business days, depending on your payment provider
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed

8. Packages and Special Offers

Styling packages and special offers may have specific refund terms that differ from our standard policy. These terms will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase.

Unused sessions within packages may be eligible for partial refunds, subject to the terms specified for that particular package.

9. Force Majeure

Balance Zone will not be liable for any delay or failure to perform services resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, government actions, power failures, or internet outages.

In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your appointment or provide alternative service delivery methods.

10. Modifications to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for changes.

The policy that applies to your service is the one in effect at the time of your booking.
